Welcome to my website! My name is Aaron Syi (He/Him/His) and I was born and raised in Bayside, Queens, NY. I am currently based in Ann Arbor, MI, finishing up my BFA in Musical Theatre at the University of Michigan. I am a proud first-gen Korean-American who can speak both Korean and English fluently! I’ve always loved to sing, and have always been surrounded by music and my Korean culture. I was first introduced to the art of performing through my obsession of K-dramas and K-pop. My sophomore year of high school, I instantly fell in love with musical theatre when I did my very first musical, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA (here’s a picture!).

Some of my hobbies include going on long walks, choreographing, going to the movies alone, and finding new food places.
